Hold'em
Opportunities are a pair of cards. You have to make the best combination of those two cards with the five cards of life, laid on the ground. And if you’re lucky (?!?!?!), and if you have the techniques and the experience you might make it. And the stingy person folds for 20 cents, and the rich guy abuses you with his/her power, and the drunk guy gives you her/his money, and the guy in front of you gives you that sexy look (the look that makes your stomach twitch), and that guy who shouts ‘mother fucker’ and you hope s/he wasn’t invited. And all these, and there you are, knowing what others think of you, and it’s time for you to give up, and you’re sick of life, of all the games, of all the pain, and you say ‘I’m all in’, so that it’s over, so you can go, just to stop seeing the stingy, the cruel, and the nasty guy. But then you win, with a deuce and a six offsuit, and you have to go on, living the fucking life.

opportunities are not the pair of cards that you get its the way you play the cards with other people that makes you a winner in life or the game you know well enough my dear that you cant leave when you say all in even if you lose you know that you have to wait for others to see where their choices take you and when they are finished playign their games so taht you can leve the house too.you cant quit seeing the stingy and all others, those are the ones that make you the experieneced one and make you learn the techniques so that in the next game, next day or maybe even next life you look at the people as opportunities not the cards.

You sound so depressed in all your posts! I hope I'm wrong.

On the positive side, I think you were talking about taking "RISK" and having "Luck" rather than the "Opportunity" itself!... because those who folded didn't have the guts to take the risk and accept the outcomes of their action... but those who took the risk and were ready to accept its outcome, were more prone to get lucky, and in a sense created their own luck!

I heard someone saying that you sound so depressed in all your blogs ....
I would not agree with the person.
This blog somewhere reminds me of the first text of "transpotting" - the movie/book.
I really wonder what is it about "winning or losing" in life....
Its about living it ...and covering the time gap.
And thats just abt it ..
I see it as if you are tied at the end of a moving vehicle with a rope and the vehicle moves on ...
If you run with ..your ride becomes smooth and you enjoy it as well. If you stop ... you might slow down the vehicle but it will drag you nevertheless.
Best Regards...
